The DYCIan Core Values

‘DYCIan’ is a word pertaining to every student of Dr. Yanga’s Colleges Inc. and more importantly, who lives by the values and ideals embraced being a family. DYCIans are called to espouse five core values:

Mission-driven. A DYCIan must embrace a life knowing what he/she must do living with a sense of love and faith in everything.

Altruistic. A DYCIan lives his/her life in service to other people, knowing that God is in the face of every people.

God-Centered. A DYCIan knows and loves God, putting Him in the center of their life.

Innovative. A DYCIan is creative, thinking beyond the ordinary and will always pursue new and advanced ideas.

Socially-Responsible. A DYCIan knows that all human are interrelated. Thus, is concern on other people.

With the five Core Values, MAGIS is formed. Magis means “greater”. God wants His people to abound or excel in both what they are (inward character) and in what they do (behavior).
